As an M.Sc. sports scientist with a specialisation in Movement and Technology, I spent 5 months at BEC Robotics in the HEXOBAU project, which involved the development of a hydraulic exoskeleton for the construction industry. Here I was able to gain valuable experience in the field of hydraulics and control technology and improved my  programming skills.

The team was super open and friendly. I had lots of freedom and I also had the chance to get to know other areas.

Michael

As a prospective industrial engineer at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, I spent 1.5 years as a working student at BEC Robotics, driving forward the development of modular production for the guidoo and BMP200 products. I was able to expand my specialist knowledge of ERP systems and project management while independently implementing the digitalisation and optimisation of internal logistics processes. I studied mechatronics, wrote my bachelor's thesis at BEC Robotics, and then stayed for a year as a working student. What convinced me? The friendly atmosphere in the company, the appreciation shown to every single employee, and the freedom to implement your own ideas. We worked directly on real robotic systems, took on responsibility, and were not “just students” but full-fledged team members. I had a really good time, learned a lot, and would do it again anytime!

During my master's degree in medical engineering, I gained valuable practical experience in the medical field as a working student and worked on the redesign of a surgical robot as part of my final thesis. I deepened my knowledge of PDM and CAD programs, produced parts with 3D printers and optimized them. Thanks to the support of my supervisor, I was able to develop both professionally and personally.

I wrote my master's thesis in mechatronics on the Hexobau project, the creation of a hydraulic exoskeleton. I focussed on topics related to control and artificial intelligence. I found BEC Robotics to be a great learning environment in which I was able to expand my programming skills and also develop personally thanks to the open and supportive atmosphere in the team.
