More Than a Ride
Robotic ride systems from BEC transform advanced industrial technology into visitor attractions that stand out. Combining a compact footprint with highly dynamic motion, robotic rides deliver an experience typically associated with much larger attractions while requiring only a fraction of the space. The movement of the robot and the visible reactions of riders naturally attract attention, creating a focal point that draws visitors long before they join the queue.
Two Ride Platforms. One Engineering Standard
BEC designs and manufactures two certified robot ride platforms. The Robot Coaster for classic thrill experiences, and the Self Driving Vehicle for interactive, AI-driven entertainment. Both are safety-certified and available for permanent installation or short-term rental.
Robot Coaster
Custom robot roller coaster platform for theme parks, family entertainment centres and brand activations. 3 to 4 passengers per ride. Configurable motion profiles for different intensity levels. VR headset-ready. Designed and manufactured to DIN, CSEI and ASTM amusement industry safety standards. Available for permanent installation and short-term rental.
Self Driving Vehicle (SDV)
Autonomous trackless ride platform developed with KUKA and CAVU Designwerks for theme parks, visitor attractions and immersive entertainment experiences. Combines intelligent navigation, real-time gaming technology and projection mapping for highly interactive ride experiences. Designed as a safety-certified attraction platform for permanent installations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers on safety standards, ride systems, integration, and entertainment robotics project execution.
BEC robotic ride platforms are based on passenger-rated industrial robots with multiple degrees of freedom. Individually programmed motion paths move passengers through dynamic acceleration, tilt, rotation, and aerial movements, creating unique ride experiences. On request, robot motion can be synchronised with visual media, audio, lighting, and other show effects to deliver highly immersive attractions.
Theme parks, family entertainment centres, museums, science centres, immersive experience venues, travelling exhibitions, and event installations can all benefit from robotic ride technology. BEC develops custom ride systems for applications ranging from family attractions and dark rides to VR experiences, motion simulators, and branded entertainment.
Yes. BEC offers both standard ride platforms and fully customised solutions. Depending on the project requirements, systems can be configured or engineered with custom motion profiles, ride vehicles, synchronised effects, theming integration, and passenger capacity requirements. BEC works closely with customers to develop the most suitable solution for each application.
BEC's ride control systems integrate with the attraction's show control system to coordinate robot motion with visual media, audio, lighting, special effects, and on-ride photo systems. Event- and time-based synchronisation ensures all ride elements operate in sequence, creating a consistent and immersive experience.
Safety is integral to every BEC robotic ride system. Rides are engineered in accordance with applicable amusement ride standards and undergo comprehensive testing, commissioning, and independent inspection before public operation. BEC incorporates proven mechanical design principles, including ride seats and substructures without welded joints, to support long-term safety, reliability, and simplified maintenance.
