MRP IONTEC & MRP QUANTEC –
MODULAR ROBOT PLATFORMS WITH HIGH LOAD CAPACITY

At Automatica 2025 in Munich, BEC Robotics will present a powerful solution for large-scale mobile robotics: the Modular Robot Platforms (MRP). The system enables the flexible use of industrial robots on mobile platforms – with payloads of up to 300 kg and a completely decoupled structure.

EFFICIENT USE OF MOBILE INDUSTRIAL ROBOTS

Mobile robot systems of conventional design are often unsuitable for high payloads – both from a technical and an economic point of view. The MRP system from BEC Robotics deliberately separates the robot station and the transport platform. While the robot works on site, an automated guided vehicle system (AGV) such as the KUKA KMP 1500P takes care of moving it between locations. The connection is made via a precise docking station with integrated power and media supply.

TWO VARIANTS – ONE CONSISTENT SYSTEM CONCEPT

MRP Iontec - For payloads up to 70 kg – compact, efficient, and ideal for dynamic applications.

MRP Quantec - For payloads up to 300 kg – powerful and designed for the most demanding requirements.

Both variants are based on the same modular design – the only difference is the payload. The transport solution is optimized for use with the KUKA KMP 1500P, but can also be combined with other AGV/FTS systems.
